In that case it must also be down to Mcnamee and Hutchinson as well. They linked up for our first goal that day.

So we now reckon tonight that 13 points is needed from remaining 6 games for Auto ?
Beat Exeter, Walsall and Brentford at home and Wycombe away gives us 12, a draw at Colchester?
I just don't want to go to The Den on the last day needing a win!

At this stage, I don't think you can say any longer that x points will be enough. You need to think in terms of bettering the results of the teams also challenging for 2nd place. 13 points will clearly not be enough if Millwall manage 15, for example...which they might.
It's all about bagging points every game from here, and praying/hoping that others drop points. Unless we are four points ahead of Millwall before the last game, I'm not sure I could handle that final day.

We're the ones in charge here now. Better Leeds, Millwall and Charlton's results and we're up.
Leeds have to play Charlton at the Valley still don't they?

Been running a few stats since the 34th game trying to predict final points tally based on average points per game radio and a seperate prediction on the form guide. At our current rate we are on for 87.4 points and 88 has been the highest total required to get auto promotion in last 8 years. Average in the last 8 years has been 84. Would also have Hudders taking 6th on 78 points. Millwall and us are top of the 6 game form on 16 points so if we replicate then we sneak by a point. Probably wouldn't work on that due to the game on last game of the season. Beware that Exeter and Brentwood are in good form 11 out of 18 points and Charlton have come back into form 11/18. Any positive result at Colchester would be good and then let the others play each other over the next couple of weeks before the Millwall game at end of season

I personally think that if we win at Colchester we will probably get automatic promotion as i can see us beating Exeter, Walsall and Brentford at home and Wycombe away.
I do not want us to go to Millwall needing something.

A win next week and we would almost mathematically guarantee the play-offs, at the start of the season how many Town fans would have honestly predicted being guaranteed play-offs with 5 games left?
