i think macnamee is a luxury player.when it's all on song, then he's a usefull weapon.not so when the team is not on top in a game.norwich clearly have a good side so until they get a team troubling them they wont see his flaws
I concur.

On his day Macca can be an exciting player to watch, sadly there is very little end product and he is liable to throw his toys out of the pram and go missing during a game. Incidentally, do you have any idea how much you paid for him? Have seen some ridiculous figures being bandied about this end.

Don't take this the wrong way but perhaps playing in a stronger side has allowed his strengths to be utilised more than his weaknesses to be found out, we have so much possession at times and this obviously gives McNamee so many opportunities to attack his full back knowing full well somebody will cover him defensively.
You wont find a better footballing side in League One than us.

Quality when he first got here but quickly got figured out and became a liability when he didn't show up. We're a hell of a lot better without him. Ward is faster, stronger and contributes more goals... and this in less games too.

And that was obviously due to the management, considering the huge improvement of others who were crap under Malpas such as Amankwaah.

I think you play to his ego more. He struggles to play every week. Prefers plenty of time on the bench. Our Danny Ward is twice the player. I'll bet that if McNamee starts at the County Ground then he gets subbed off.

He'll be off in the summer if he's that good though, value?

Rubbish - J-P's form this season is down to him alone. At the start of the season Wilson told him he didn't figure in his plans and was about to send him out on loan. Luckily he got the opportunity to play at Wolves & MK, bossed the midfield and hasn't looked back. IMO he was just as class a player last season, specially just before his injury, but didn't quite gel with the players around him.
