I don't want to keep this thread going as it is a bit pathetic and over the top, but I wonder if the reaction would be the same if it wasn't in a 'wooden stand'.
Probably not, just a reason to make it sound like he murdered someone.

If this kid who no doubt loves watching the Town gets a lifetime ban from the CG (or all football grounds) that will be ridiculous. Imagine being told that because of something you did as a teenager you can never watch another football match in your life.

Depends on what they mean by life Spy,If it's anything like jail time then he will be alright in 6-10 years time.

Plus, honest question but what stops him just buying a ticket on the day and going in a completely different stand wearing a hat and scarf?

Nothing at all. The stewards wont know any different. I bet he would be able to get back into the town end if he tried.

Yeah I'm sure it happens.
And at for teams like Leeds who sell out their tickets for away games in advance if someone is on a ban they can go in with the home fans.

There's a bloke I see at most games who's got a lifetime ban from every ground in the country, so I don't think they enforce these things too harshly.

Well if you already have a lifetime ban, what more can they do? I guess a fine? I doubt it though.

What im getting at mainly would the police intervene or would it just be handled by the club.

If you got caught by the police breaking a band you would get punished by the courts.
If you got caught by the stewards in most grounds I think you'd just get thrown out. Unless it was a derby or something they might get the police involved. That's just a hunch.

I suppose it depends if the ban was enforced by the police or the club.
