Why cant he start tommorrow? i have never seen him play and was wondering if anyone knew what he was like. read somewhere that arsenal was tracking him last season so why cant he replace manky at RB.

Yes, must admit I'd thought the same. Obviously, it would be better to have an experienced right back to bring in but if the lad is as good as we've been told, then why not? I'd be more concerned if he had been drafted in last season when the defence was not the strongest feature of the team.  However with a pretty solid central pairing & Sheehan on the left & with Douglas playing a bit deeper on the right to support him, today may be a good a time as any to give him his debut. Still, I'm sure Danny & Peter Shirtliff will have explored all the options for today before selecting the team to face the O's.  Good luck anyway to the players - and of course to the fans who're making their way to the game.
