Adver web site reporting a pitch inspection at 10.00am, passed this afternoon but the ref wants to take another look in the morning.
I'm not too far away in Essex and it's been dry and windy most of the day so if it stays like that overnight we should be OK

Just because it's 2010, it doesn't change the effect that water has on soil...

Well they can control the weather in Back to the Future II and that's only 5 years away. Scientists really need to pull their fingers out.
I'm looking forward to getting a hover-board. Although I have to admit that I can't imagine flying cars being anything other than a logistical nightmare.

I would think that like the brolly which was invented to stop our heads getting sodden maybe a cover would be in order...is that to much to ask?..i mean ware meant to be melting 1000 ton icebergs but we cant keep a pitch dry...give me a break.

I was only joking, you would think something would have been done by now. They manage it in the tennis, just need the same thing only bigger!

Doesn't look as though there was much, although there is the occasional shower, i'm pretty confident it will be on.
