No surprise there from the spineless wonders, but why didn't they add a game to the ban?

Or is the vaguest semblance of consistency too much to ask? Doh

They must have decided that although the challenge was worthy of a red, they could see why Norwich were appealing.  They only give an extra match ban if the club make a "frivolous" previous.

Don't quite understand the distinction - should it have been a red or not? I saw the challenge, and agreed with Norwich's claim. But I didn't think our appeal against Douglas's red card was any less justified...

Or am I biased?

That it's just me that's biased and the League's review panel are a collection of fine, fair-minded, upstanding gentlemen?

At least Andrew Fitton's with me in thinking that it was abusive and high-handed for our claim to be punished as frivolous!

It was harsh that we had an extra game tagged on to Douglas' ban, but two wrongs don't make a right. There was no need to add a game on to Norwich's appeal.

Once again shows up the FA, not even sure the incident was worthy of a yellow card let alone the red. Just don't see how they can uphold such a ridiculous decision from the referee.

Oh well, it's 2 wins from 2 without Russell, hopefully a third on Saturday and he'll be nice and rested for our game at your place in a few weeks.
