If anyone else says "typical Swindon" or "same old same old" I'm going to go mad.  How is the Swindon Town of this season anything like the Swindon Town of previous seasons.  Since 03/04 and the attacking prowess of Mooney and Parkin have we had anything remotely this good.  It seems our fans are determined to put a downer on our success, although I suppose such is the nature of football fans.

I am still in complete wonderland and am shocked this run has continued as long as it has.  Looking at the recent live table just posted and the relative form of the top 6, we should be gunning for the title!  Maybe the Southampton defeat has derailed Norwich, Leeds haven't seemed the same since their shock win at United and Charlton are in freefall.  The other teams are nothing to be scared of, and with the goals we have in Paynter and Austin, the sky is the limit.

Yes we've conceded late goals, yes we don't keep clean sheets every week, but fuck me if this is typical Swindon then long may it continue!!

*cough*

We haven't played the 2nd half yet.

Poor Juddie, all that mental arithmetic for nothing

To cheer him up, can I remind anyone that doesn't go and look at it each month that he still does an excellent column on Town in Four Four Two. http://fourfourtwo.com/blogs/insideswindontown/default.aspx and he doesn't come shouting about it here.

1. My "typical Swindon" comment was said more in jest than anything.
2. The recent live table was incorrect, but yes, we're going well and should keep our eyes on the top 2
3. As for Norwich, it sounds like they're destroying Southend tonight but haven't got a goal yet, so derailment seems an exaggeration

Sorry, I'm in a pedantic mood. I think it's because my boiler has broken and it currently feels like -17C in my flat.
