ferry was totally ineffective today.either he wasn't fit or just had an off day

You don't like Ferry do you?

Anyway, this result clearly means that Mex cannot go VIP again, ever.

What was the spat between Ferry and Greer about?

Spat? Didn't even know there was one.

Just before Ferry came off they seem to have a disagreement with Greer pushing him (according to my mate, didn't see it). Hopefully just ne of those heat of the game things all forgotten about now.

Yeah, Sheehan got involved and separated them.  Guessing it was frustration on Greers part but who knows!

Anyway, Ok 1st Half, much better 2nd.

I did not expect Sheehan to play at all today, let alone 90 mins and he didn't look like he'd been out for 5 weeks!  Another positive being Easton looking good when he came on.

I can't really be bothered to go through everyone else as they all played their part.

Another 3 points in the bag and I'm happy!

(Apart from the fact that I need to buy new hubcaps tomorrow!)

They played 5 across the midfield to frustrate us. Great ball and finish from Charlie for the first goal.

Once we went 2-0 up, they bought on an extra striker, and we could've scored another couple more.

At the end of the day, three points and a clean sheet.

Comfortable win today. We were better in the 2nd when the wannabe Jocks started hitting the ball long and hopeful. Their no 7 looked useful but Cuthbert and Greer were excellent today. Two great finishes and we could have had a lot more. Pericard put in an interesting stint - could have had 2 or 3 but produced a couple of beautiful passes.
Hopefully another 3 points Tuesday. We are looking the real deal. i think we played within ourselves today and had another gear or two to go up if needed. Not sure why their useless lumps were giving it large.

didn't see greer and ferry spat? saw greer push one of their guys over in the chest and he clutched his face...

great performance today. Not as slick as others, but beat a solid side and without really having any worrying moments.

cuthbert and greer were immense.

Sheehan is a proper left-back, so much better than Lecs.

Ferry not so good today, but battling with flu according to Wilson. good to see easton (and morrison) come on and slot in nicely.

Thought everyone did well. Ward looked dangerous, JPM mint again. Douglas just cool as fuck.

Paynter and austin again looking dangerous. Pericard eminded me of Onionbajee, though...

Referee utter tripe. and linesman, they almost scored cos the lino didn't give their bloke offisde, he was a country mile off.

In short, good win... some mahoosive games looming. Roll on March.

Great result today, everything now a 6 pointer. Superb that the deadly double act notched again. So what would be a good'un for me to come up for, got to be either the beginning or end of the month, finances an all that. I'm open to suggestions

We've only got two home matches next month...

Wovers on 6th March (1pm ko), and
Norwich on 20th March.
