That really hurt.
Anyway. I went to Brentford in October. So what are you talking about?

The threat of disinheritance helps, too.

Lock them under the stairs and only let them out for Town games. If we win let them out for the rest of Saturday. if we lose or draw then they go straight back under the stairs. i'm sure they'd appreciate going to the games and would have no concept of Chelsea unless we played them.

That's 3 rows in front of me and Bennett... I'll ask the sweary Emo to tone the language down
Haha at first i thought the 'sweary Emo' comment was directed at myself, as i sit a few rows in front of your lot! I will have to tell my foul mouthed friend to tone down, as he often stands up when all's quiet, and shouts a few 'home truths' towards the match officials/opposition players...

Except my first game, I'm pretty sure the only games my old man took me to in the early years were "Kid a Quid" promotions.
I hope they have a good time compo.

Hope he has fun.
My older boy is in his third full season aged 9. My younger boy is in his second full season aged 7.
They just love coming, and even when the football hasn't been great they approach the CG full of blind optimism for every game.
It's going to be cold tomorrow - a flask with hot squash is good. You will probably end up with him sat on your lap, which is fine until we score.

Those days were great! Having no real knowledge of the ins and outs of whats going on with the teams politics but just pure belief that Swindon will smash the opponents into oblivion 5-0

Have fun!
My lad got his first season ticket last season, though he only went to about 10 games I think. He was 4 then. And like Herthab it was a mixture of fidgeting, toilet breaks and "is it over yet".
We ended up taking the Nintendo DS 'just in case', which he ended up playing a fair amount of the game. So I asked him why he bothered to say he wanted to come in the first place. "It's better than shopping with mummy". Can't argue with that.
This season he's really got into it though. In fact I can hear him singing Charlie Charlie Austin" right now. An my wife saying "oh no there's two of them now." Well love it'll be three of us when the youngest gets a bit older. Mwhahahahahahahaha.
PS. His first game was the 6-0 demolition of Port Vale. I hope you bring similar luck!

There was a bunch of kids on the bus the other day singing Swindon songs, never heard that before.
