CROC, CROC, CROC, CROC..........

You can't really argue against evolution.
Most of the Dinosaurs couldn't survive a meteor hit, but the CROC did. Polar Bears are going extinct whereas Crocs are survivors.
But the really telling facts are when you look at how humans (the planets most dangerous animal )fare against them.
Statistics show that crocodiles kill roughly 3000 people a year. The problem with this statistic is that when a croc kills there are no remains left so it is a very hard statistic to answer correctly.

In all of Canada, only eight people have been killed by polar bears in the past 30 years.
In the U. S. (Alaska) during the same time period, only one person was killed. In all of recorded history, only 19 people have been killed by polar bears in Russia. In all instances in which a human was killed by a polar bear, the animal in question was undernourished or had been provoked.

Statistics platistics !

There are hundreds of thousands of crocodiles world wide - with around 23 different species...

There are reported to be only around 20,000 Polar Bears left.

Polar Bears live in cold places without many humans to kill - crocs live everywhere....

This tells me that if there were as many Polar Bears living near people as there are crocs - Polar Bears would have a field day and kill tens of thousands of humans....

Therefore the Polar Bear is definitely harder !!!  At least it made sense to me

Of course there are more Crocs, that cos they are hard bastards & so sucessful as a species.
Crocs don't live everywhere. Only in hot climates.

Today, most Churchill residents are fond of their polar bears, despite occasional damage. When a bear ambled into the Royal Canadian Legion hall, the club steward shouted, "You're not a member! Get out!" The bear did.

Can you imagine a Croc acting like this ?

But the main point is that their are very few if any recorded cases of the PB killing humans unless very hungry or provoked.

Surely hardness is about capability, and I'm sure the Bear is capable of battering fuck out of a crocodile if it had to.

The point about humans is that we are the most dangerous animal on the planet. We have more to fear from Crocs than Polar Bears.
The bear would have a job to batter the Croc, cos a) the Crocs Skin can even deflect bullets b) the Croc would eat the fucker.

Polar bears are so hard they choose to live in the most inhospitable environment on the planet and when it finally starts to warm up a bit they'd rather die off than turn soft.
