our form is very good but there is still a massive 17 games to play and the gap between 7th and 6th has just got tighter.

in my eyes tonights results didnt go that well with colchester and udders. but for those who think we can catch either leeds or norwich then maybe it went well.

i think we will finish 4th, our run in looks quite easy, barring the last game. Hopefully we will be assured a p/o place by then.

Im a born pessimist. Been thinking its about time we sustained some key injuries or went on a bad run. For example, an injury to Paynter or Austin might halt us in our tracks.

Losing Douglas or Cuthbert to injury would be my main worry.

Still think we'll end up in the play-offs. 2nd is definitely there for the taking though.

It's a mystery, anywhere between 2nd and eighth!

The head says we'll come up short, because it won't accept good things happening to us and we are due a 'blip'.

The heart says its feb and we are where we are. Why should it end.

I think as said injuries and suspension (or lack of) will be the telling factor.

I feel that the month of March will go a long way in deciding our fate. It's a tough one.

I reckon 4th. There is now way that 3 of the top 4 will sustain a bad enough run until the end to allow us through.  I think recent weeks have shown we are one of the better teams in the league though and now fear nobody.  We can go into games like the next 2 believing we will pick up 2 wins rather than hoping or just using some mis placed memory from 20 years ago that we were good

I can see Norwich winning it with a bit to spare now and then 2nd being between Leeds (if they can halt their implosion) and Colchester.  Watching Charlton, they look like a team hanging on to early season points now.  Huddersfield and Millwall have been playing well and Millwall may just sneak Huddersfield who are probably a better team when on song but have some tough games to come and have poor away form.

I looked at that yesterday, was quite eye opening to see just how our form translates vs how other teams are going.  While we get a bit wary in the last 10 minutes of games, we are so hard to beat it seems, such a change, which gives the team confidence through most of the game that we will get some sort of result.

We really should finish in the play-offs given what we've achieved so far. I still can't help feeling it will all go wrong though. I voted 6th. As much as my heart may not be able to take it, a last minute winner at Millwall to clinch 6th wouldn't be all that bad! Obviously it'd be nice to have it all sorted before then though.

So we've had the most prolific attack over the last 8 matches, who would have thunk it at the start of the season?!

Leeds form is terrible, but I think with them it's mostly results form as opposed to being no better or worse than the opposition.  At some point they'll win a couple and be off again.  Charlton is a little different, the game against us and the one against Rovers seemed to suggest a team lacking any real ideas while being a bit tough and well organised.  Colchester without form.

Looking at Huddersfields run a little closer, if they are still within a point of us come April they'll storm through the play offs.  I think they could be the ones to slip out of this in the next 6 weeks.
