Just been looking through STFC world at various away games i've been to over the last few years. What's everyones top 3 away games in the last 5 years?

Mine are
1) Bristol city 04/05 won 2-1
2)wycombe 02/03 won 3-2
3)Reading 01/02 won 3-1

Some great memories.

City away was definitely the best for me in recent years.  Felt like this was gonna be the season.  Darius and Sam up front looking lethal then, well the rest is histoire.

Brighton 03/04 PO's- fuck it, we were there, singing in the rain

Luton and Wycombe 03/04- best atmoshere I've been in. "We are going up!"

Wycombe 02/03- Parkin pinches it in the 94th minute. Jimmy Davis on fire. Glorious.

Reading 01/02- "We beat the scum 3-1"

City 04/05- First time we've won there for yonks, electric noise.

Leeds 03/04- 2500 of us and it was fucking mental

Luton 3-0, score a goal, you're 'avin' a laugh.

Grimsby, same season, the football we played in that game was some of the best I've ever seen us play.

Leeds first time round, as DMR says, we were fantastic.

Oxford Away 2001.

Didcot Town away pre season 02. Laughing at my old history teacher trying to clear Swindon lads off the pitch.

Wolves away League cup 2001.

Victories at Bristol City and Reading. Sweet.

Bournemouth, Leeds, Port Vale 03-04. Even Plymouth, QPR and the ill fated Brighton night for the feeling that we were involved in a massive match again.

Wycombe Away (last time I ran on pitch away). RIP Jim D.

Port Vale 03/04, from dejection to elation in 20 minutes.

Sheff Wed at home this year. 2-0 to 3-2 and didn't Rory show where his loyaltys lay that night.

He was over the moon when he ran to the nationwide stand.

i quiet enjoyed huddersfield away this season, some about waking up at 9 in the morning hung over to fook, driving 200 miles to see your team down to 9 men at half time. I see to remember singing swindon till i die for about 20 minutes!

and kinky tom went mental at the end     Tongue

One which noone has mentioned was ColU away on the Friday night, when Mooney scored his first goal at the end....I suppose 4-500 in that tiny shed....really hot August night and the pub on the corner full of STFC assuaging thirsts.

Good bit of mental terracing when the goal went in made the 4 hours onthe M25 worth it.

That was a great night, Rockin Robin was in the away end as well as I think the stewards were going to throw him out at one point.

um...would probably be:

1) City 2-1 04/05
2) Stcokport 4-3...interesting game! 03/04
3) Wycombe 3-0 03/04

i could have others but that were mostly loses before 03/04 season!

Wasn't it 5-2?  Or was that the season before?  Ah yes, I think it was, because Sabin and that guy from Pompey played.

Why do we always score loads at Stockport?

Wycombe last season is one of my all time favourite footy games. "We'll never see you again..."

Oxford 2-0 a few years ago (2001?)

City this year 2-1 (finally!)

And Torquay away this year was great for the atmosphere and the terrible home crowd!
