I'm concerned that our strikers aren't scoring.

I wanted to smash the cunt sat 2 rows behind me right in the chops. Never shit up all game, and had the sort of voice that makes you want to kick dogs.

We absolutely must beat Oldham, or this season threatens to fizzle out into a 9th or 10th place finish.

I'm as fucked off as the best of them but that's OTT. My guess is you will think the same in a few hours time.

Frustrated as fuck.

One thing to describe today =  ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

Can't believe we have let this happen again, although I thought Charlton would get one back as they got far more into the game in the 2nd half.

First 30 mins we looked good and controlled the game but after that, a little shakey but we did have several chances.

Austin didn't really do much today but was suprised to hear several critical texts on the radio about Paynter as I thought he did well again seeing as he was being used as a climbing frame for a lot of the game.

Thought Amankwah did well too and was going to say Lescinel wasn't bad until he nearly cost us a goal with a sloppy pass.

Again, some good stuff in the first 30 mins but we let ourselves go and let them into it.  I don't get why we seem to lose concentration toward the end and once or twice a season I could forgive but two weeks in a row is taking the piss.

With the subs he made, its clear the squad is very thin so I'd definitely like to see Wilson pursue the faces he mentioned earlier in the week at the very least.

As for the idiots who booed - I'd be quite happy to see them bugger off and not bother coming back.  The result was frustrating, yes, but you simply cannot boo a 1-1 with Charlton whatever the circumstances.

If we play like we have been playing recently, we'll win Tuesday relatively easily.

One positive thing though is after getting decent results against Leeds and Charlton, it does show we aren't a world apart from the top teams so play offs in my opinion are definitely a possibility.

We do. Was the same against leeds, when they had a spell at looking dangerous either side of half time.

How much of that is down to ineptitude on our part and how much due to good play by the opposition is a bit harder to determine

He wasn't ginger was he?

His best one was 'Shut up Dailly you Scottish prick' which considering 4 of our players in the starting lineup were Scottish, I found quite funny. Funny in a 'I almost hope we concede because you're such a cunt' kind of way.

FACT!
I think I'm frustrated at the fact that we have got ourselves into really good positions in a number of matches and thrown it away. If we do well enough to get to the playoffs, which is a possibility and not a certainty, I would not be confident of our chances.

When we were good in the 80s, under Macari, you could almost guarantee that there would be games where we were utter shite for 89 minutes but would always find a way to get a result. We appear to have made massive improvements under Wilson, but its obvious that we aren't the finished article yet.

I wish we wouldn't try and hold on to leads as we are not very good at it. It's cost us 4 points against Charlton, and if we had that we'll be right behind them with games in hand.

But we should've been at least 2 goals up from the first 35 minutes that we dominated.

But we never get anything with tis ref Andy Hall. He gave that penalty to Hartlepool in the last minute last season, when he was the only person in the ground, who thought it was a penalty, and we should've had a pen in the first half for handball, and another in the second when Billy was bundled to the ground (an exact replay of the foul happened 10 minutes later outside the box, and we were awarded a free kick).

Charlton were moaning from the first minute, and I lost count how many times Sodje (18) went down like he'd been shot. I thought they were poor and there for the taking. Their only decent bit of possession were 10 minutes at the end of each half.

Just got in, so sorry if this repeats what's been said.

Two points dropped thanks to Wilson's poor choice of subs - we looked quite comfortable until he replaced Austin with Macklin, which seemed to send a message to the rest of the team to sit back and defend (or hit it long). I know Austin wasn't at his best but he wasn't tired so why change it?

Hopefully we'll put a few past Oldham so we don't have to worry about the last 5 minutes! Sad

'Holding on' to leads is just shit. End of.

You carry on doing the things that got you a goal up in the first place
(that is my personal message to Danny Wilson)

The boos were directed at the ref, I thought.
