Tbh i dont even think he would be good enough as cover.

Strange when you consider us, Southampton and Franchise were all interested. Maybe he isn't all that and Wilson didn't like what he saw.

Said he needed to see him in match conditions, as he didnt see enough in training to take a gamble, particularly at the quoted 100k. Where Torquay raised that, if that's the correct figure is a bit baffling though.

After Casal I think there is a rule at the club that they will never sign a player unless they have seen him in the flesh in a competitive match.
