I remember on his debut for us people were comparing him to Calderwood - that comparison slipped pretty rapidly, but he wasn't nearly as bad a some people made out. He was also playing in a poor team with even worse morale - if he turned up as a new signing now, I've no doubt he'd be alright.

Hope he gets the move.

Aljofree had a go at the fans - from that point that was his legacy cemented for many.

Before, he was an adequate player in a mediocre side.

He's had a decent football career but it didn't work out for him here in the end... So be it.

He played last night for Oldham reserves against M'Boro reserves. Not sure how he got on. Score was 0-0.

Hopefully that has freed up wages for Billy to sign an extension.

Wilson's comments seem rather blunt. By that I mean that there was no "He will be missed" or "We wish him well" or "Good servant to the club".....etc etc

I get the impression that Wilson is glad to see the back of him.

Have to see how he gets on at his next club....................

He made it pretty clear he wasnt enjoying playing at Swindon, then he got injured for a year. I sympathise that it must have been a terrible 18 months for him.

Although they are different types of centre back, I think there are a lot of comparisons with Sean O'Hanlon. Both were players who had decent reputations who we were dependent on, they lost both form over the summer break and the 2 respective teams slumped.

He's signed for Oldham now, if anyone's interested.
