Cant we just let his 2nd months loan expire, then sign him up on a season long loan?
Didn't Ward come here as an emergency loan? If so, the most he can stay is 3 months - so another 1 month extension. Unless we sign him for the rest of the season before the transfer window closes on Monday, like I'm assuming we did with Sheehan. |

Can we keep him please? As a natural striker he's been very good on the left. His crosses are pretty good and he has a bit of skill and pace and he can shoot. Was superb last night as others have said. Defended well too.

Cheers again! For what it's worth it'd be a damn site more beneficial to let him stay on at you guys all season, I'm not convinced he'll get anything but reserves for us this season given the fight we have ahead of us. I'll pass on all the regards to Gartside and Super John  |

TOWN are hopeful of securing the services of loanee Danny Ward until the end of the season.
The teenage Bolton forward has excelled on the left wing in the last couple of games, as he continues to settle into life at the County Ground during his two-month temporary spell.
And Swindon boss Danny Wilson told the media this lunchtime he was optimistic of keeping Ward until May, and that a deal could be struck in the next 48 hours.

I hope so. We don't want to unbalance the team at this stage of the season. Hopefully the first 11 will stay clear of injuries as we're still light in a few positions. |
