Apparently Crawley (my home town) have rejected an approach from us for Charles Ademeno, ex-Brentford player.  He's certainly a bright prospect and the local rags are constantly hyping him up - he scored a four minute hat-trick the other week - but I can't help thinking, do we really need another striker?  With Austin and Paynter flying, and Pericard and even Macklin in reserve, it really seems a signal of intent from Wilson.

From the interview on the BBC site, it appears the Crawley manager is expecting Swindon to make another, improved offer, although I imagine it will take a fair fee to prise Ademeno away...  That said, Crawley have had their share of financial problems over the last couple of seasons, so they may be pretty eager to cash in.
