yes, Southend let him go last year.

Personally if Wilson and his team are convinced he could be something and he doesn't cost too much then why not take the gamble. It's not like he's going to play much initially unless injuries/suspensions/people leaving.

Does seem a bit of an odd one this, especially if Crawley want £100k for him.  But I cant fault DW's signings at all.

Its a fair point although at least it was only a loan. I'm still happy with a 1 in 10 (or whatever it actually is) shit to good signing ratio though.
