Im only going because Fred gave me a freebie.

But obviously playing Leeds in front of a near full house is a more attractive prospect than Stockport or Colchester in front of 6000 so stop with the "Mr Swindon Town " crap eh Dave

Dave Computer Says Its Just 3 points.

Could be worth 6 if Leeds keep choking?

Not to mention the unbelievable luck theyve enjoyed at our expense.

People don't like to admit it but visits by teams like Leeds always generates excitement. The same applied for Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest and Southampton. I'm sure Charlton will be the same.

the town end was rocking that day - a proper standing, shouting, chanting terrace, sucking the goals in and then blowing them out as the wee man Strachan threatened around our defended final third.

More of the same please!
was all about the shrivvy road back then.the atmosphere came from there, and nothing has come close since those days.the townend was busy and sang, but christ was it rocking in the shrivvy road.my best years watching town easily.
anyone who thinks the singing between the don rogers and townend now is good should have heard it back then.loud as fuck!

Shrivvy road, yep, definitely the place to be back in the day.  What Id give for that atmosphere at the cg these days.

Fantastic when you take into account that Cox scored a hattrick against Northampton 3 days after the Hereford game and before Dave made the bet Cheesy

Thats why I don't gamble

Top of the table team is always the team to beat. To do it in front of their large away support would be sweet. Oh, and Ken Bates is a cunt. Though we never beat Leeds Sad

I remember back in macari days, there used to be a lad sat on fence in the shrivvy, back to the game, conducting the shrivvy road masses in song..

all together now.." Lou Macaris red and white army..."

(though I apprecaite yourself and arriba maybe talking about a time before that)

and just to get back on thread, yep, Leeds, well up for this...

Added to all the other reasons everyone else has given, it'll bring in loads of the casual/missing thousands support who don't normally come. So an opportunity to impress them and make them think about coming more often/tempting season ticket offers etc. So we'll fuck it up, as usual Smiley

so, so excited about this game... full house under lights, us against them in a game that means something at the top of the table. And we have more of a chance of winning against them than the previous encounters. Bring it on, can't wait. Although Paul D's right, we'll probably chuff it up.
