I liked Roberts on the wing though, unafraid to have a go and run at players, even if the crowd was getting on his back.

Bit like Robson-Kanu in respect.

Wherever he goes you can't help but wish him luck. Always gave 100%, even if it isn't good enough for the squad we have now. You can't ask more than that.

Peacock did very well and I know he wanted to end his career in Swindon. Probably got a bit to give in say an average L2 side. Not good enough for L1 now I wouldn't think. Wish him luck ofcourse. I'd imagine Stockport or Carlisle will be the likely destination. If he goes to Grimsby he will be playing in the Conference next season.

What Batch and Gazza said. Great servant to the club, always had time for the fans, wish him all the very best. (Or Carlisle if the very best isn't an option Smiley)

Totally agree ALWAYS had time for the fans. Good Example was Lee P, Monkhouse and Ifil when on the tour in Ibiza and Peacock stood with us for about half hour chatting in the west end of San Antoni about relegation, football etc just having a laugh. And Charlotte can testify to the kind of host he was at the team sponsors dinners.

Good luck to the lad. He always gave 110% and was a good team-player; although not quite good enough to be a 'Swindon Ace' as the Mirror call him!

Gutted he is gone. Great with the fans as noted above but no sentiment in football I suppose. Good Luck to Lee P. I for one do not have a bad word to say about him. Shame his STFC career ended this way though.

I used to love away days to Grimsby, especially for the fish and chips and a walk along the beach (I didn't go for cock though).
