It won't happen, it's almost certainly one nutcase in his bedroom telling the Daily Mail he'll do it to get a bit of publicity. Which worked, spectacularly.
If it does happen, it'll no doubt attract a bunch of far right idiots as well, so perhaps we could just seal off Wootton Basset for the day and nuke it.

I don't think anyone's saying they don't care about it. My reaction on reading about this this morning was the same as I imagine everyone else's - revulsion and anger. But as Nemo says, we're being played here - by a couple of nutjob extremists who want to stir up shit and the Mail who sourced this interview who are more than happy to give them publicity because it furthers their agenda. If this march does go ahead, I'd be more than happy to join any counter demonstration so long as it is organised by local people and/or forces' families not the fucking BNP/EDL or any of the other fascist bandwagon jumpers who are just the other side of the same coin as these al-Muhajiroun scrotes. Throw the fucking lot in a lime pit and chuck grenades in, just leave the quiet dignity of the remembrance of the forces dead and wounded out of it. |

What fucking middle ground? I don't want to see Wootton Bassett hijacked and despoiled by either Muslim nutjobs abusing it to make their political points or far right nutjobs abusing it to make theirs. That's not "middle ground", that's saying fuck off to the lot of them. Hopefully though the coppers will for once exercise a modicum of common sense for once and tell the publicity whores of whatever stripe to do one. |

People are looking to provoke a reaction and people like you play into their hands.
Just let the (probably) few Islamist extremists go to Wootton Bassett - the police can deal with it and they will get minimum publicity.
It will be far more upsetting for the families of the dead to have a load of beered up skin-heads coming tooled up for a scrap.
