Just saw the first sending off incident on SSN, and there is no doubt he deserved to go, even though the Charlton players tried to appeal the decision to the ref.

Just got back... So so gutted. that said, If Charlton didnt have the 2 men sent off they would have battered us. Was a great day until the last 30 seconds Sad Ok we probably didn't deserve 3 points but most of us expected to get dicked so taking the lead we were on cloud 9.

Just how good is Charlie Austin? I figuered no way he will score against Charlton but had a good run.

Charlton were a very good attacking team and will get promoted easily IMO.

Taking Ferry off confused me a bit and why LJF did not come off at half time I will never know. I am convinced Hutchinson is THE WORST player I have ever seen at STFC (Mikolanda, Collins, Slabber where shit but atleast they put some effort in, they were just shit footballers), Lazy fucker with no desire what so ever, even with Wilson having a go at him he just stood there. Lazy cunt and I hope he goes in January. Would rather had Revell on.

I loved the Valley, the stadium, everything about it was top notch, the music, even the "do not swear" adds were funny as fuck, Friendly place would love to see us redevelop out place similar to it Wink , Police were well OTT outside but rumours were Bristol City were heading over apparently to "meet up", I did see 2 riot vans with blues and twos going as we left...

Well what an anti-climax. We had that game in the bag as soon as we scored the 2nd. Sadly we made a mistake and that was that. We should have won but it could have easily been the other way around in the last 2 games if Brighton had equalised and we held on today. I think it's a good result anyhow. You can't moan about a point away to the 2nd placed team. It's a shame that some of the fans that didn't go with conclude that it was a shit result and that we are indeed shite and doomed for failure. We played well today. I'll give Charlton credit where credit is due at least they stuck at it and gave it a go with 9 men. Roll on Yeovil!

The silly thing is when it was 11 v 11 we were the better team yet when they went down to 10 and then 9 we really struggled. The 2nd half we had a gameplan which would have worked if Kev hadn't have made a mistake. Shit happens. I wasn't too impressed with Charlton other than their fighting spirit and determination to not give in. As a footballing side they didn't show a huge amount even before the red cards.

I also loved the announcement that it was a no chanting stadium and the guy trying to sell the 2009 - 2007 championship goals dvd, that makes no sense on so many levels.

Oh, and the announcements for the cleaning supervisor to report to his office!

No Swearing "WHAT THE FUCKIN HELL WAS THAT?" Cheesy Even the Charlton fans had a giggle, that said they probably get that every week. The Shit Crystal Palace song was slightly amusing as well!

Fully agree with you Gaz. He's got to be the laziest player we've taken on loan. He'll be lucky to join a non-league side once his contract runs out at Celtic with his attitude.

Problem with Hutchinson is that we don't want to upset Celtic by telling him to go forth and multiply as we want to get Ferry for as long as possible.

Pissed as a cunt.

Can't complain at the result, would've taken a point beforehand. Just a shame the mannr in which we drew.

Had a great day out though Smiley

Not sure what to make of today's game, it was an odd one to say the least! I'm not too angry, perhaps because I would gladly have taken a point before the game, and perhaps also because I've come to expect this sort of thing from Swindon. Watch us do Fulham over with 10 men next week Wink

Initially I thought the first red card was harsh, I thought it was a bad late tackle worthy of a booking, but a lot of people have said it was two footed, in which case he deserved to go. As for the second, Burton had been warned and then eventually booked for persistently showing dissent. His second yellow was not for a foul on the keeper or for dissent, as various people have said. It was in fact for blatant cheating - trying to score with a deliberate handball. Charlton can have no complaints, and the fact they clapped him off was a disgrace.

In the second half it was very interesting to watch how Wilson set us out to play - how do you play against 9 men? I think he got it totally right. Our defence set up camp on the half way line, and just picked out wide players to exploit the huge gaps on the wings. At times Charlton were struggling to get out of their own third of the pitch and eventually Charlie popped up to tap home a cross from Amankwaah before laying it off for Paynter to make it 2-1. We were playing very sensibly, using O'Brien, JPM, Amankwaah and Sheehan to good effect. Unfortunately we seemed to decide 2-1 was enough. Although we didn't need to press forward any more we lost all sense of urgency in attack, as though the game was won. We were punished by a very good finish (for a centre half) right at the death. I suppose you have to say it's our own fault for not killing the game off.

If we beat Yeovil and put in a good shift at Fulham, that late equaliser will be a distant memory. Heopfully we've a good week ahead of us!

PS, can we have a whip round for Hutchison's plane ticket back to Glasgow? I didn't understand why he was in the squad, I didn't understand why Wilson brought him on, and I still can't understand how this guy is a professional footballer when he clearly couldn't care less. If he put as much effort into chasing the ball as he does arguing with the officials then he might be a decent player.

Wouldn't surprise me........ Peacock is pretty much done here... They have been sniffing around us for players lately. Marshall, Sturrock last season etc....
