Is anyone going out tonight?

Years ago I used to enjoy going out on Christmas Eve as much as New Years Eve, but gone are the days of me getting in at 4am on Christmas Day. Saying that, I am popping out tonight  Smiley

For a few Mrs Wemberley.

Christmas Eve is one of the best nights after the a couple after work crowd have gone home.

None of the false sentiment and hype of NYE and people are genuinely in good spirits and out on the lash now wanting to shake stranger’s hands and ordering rounds drink by drink.  Plus for the single gents I always found Christmas Eve prime time pulling.

I went to McKenzies in old town last night. Not only is it very expensive, but the toilets do not clearly state which gender they are for. This then caused much embarresment for myself, as whilst urinating I overheard two women talking about their periods in the next cubicle.

Dave's top Christmas tip - Don't go to McKenzies

Yeah, out for drinks tonight but in Highworth as middle point for friends that don't live in Swindon.

Rather that than old town to be honest!

Christmas Eve has always been the time of the year to get properly on it. Like Dazzza says, there's none of that hype to live up to, like nye, or anything. Last nye i remember loving was the millenium, yet i can't remember the last time i didn't enjoy xmas eve.

I'm supposed to go out tonight, but really don't want to bother. Went out Friday and it was too fucking busy. And i got pissed off outside in a just a jumper for over an hour trying to get a cunting cab at the end of the evening. (And The Spot was fucking gash, haven't been there for ages, but i hated it. Is it always like that?)

Does a bear shit in the woods?

TBF I think CE has been diluted since the change in drinking hours...a late one was a novelty, not to be missed, now it's more standard.  Nevertheless always a good one to catch up with a few old faces.

celebrating x-mas eve in the traditional polish way, massive feast with the family, which will involve copius amounts of vodka, and if im still standing i'm gonna pop into town to catch up with some mates, i think its only wise to escape coz my vodka drinking is nowhere near at the standard of my dad's and auntie, i tried going shot for shot with them last year i think i managed about 17, this was about 11, i stumbled in around 3am and they are still at it, troopers.

Yes, get shitfaced.

We're doin the 12 drinks of Christmas around Wootton Bassett (One in every pub). Cannot wait! Then a pub crawl around Bassett for NYE, with us endin up in the Keys. Standard.

Merry Christmas, all
