Converting PDF Files

I have a 52 Page pdf file which I need to complete, and rather than do it by hand, I'd like to type it in on computer. Is there a free resource available that will do this? I have Open Office already installed - will that do it? Or I have Word 2003 on my work laptop if thats any good (although I suspect not).

OOo Plugin from Sun that allows PDF editing apparently. Not used it myself so YMMV

Thanks both. Both kind of worked, but not properly. I've done what I needed to now, so all's good.
