Yeh, terrific to be in p/o's with 2 games in hand! And to think of all the doom and gloom after Rovers!

Good result, wasn't expecting it after watching that appalling game against them this time last year.

To be fair there were only a few who's knees jerked so hard they smacked themselves in the face, most were pretty pragmatic.

Quality free kick from Sheeham, very nearly a goal. JFL was class one miinute and scary bad the next, another excellent cross for the equaliser though.

JPM had another cracker and yet another goal for Charlie.

10 for the season for Billy as well, if he keeps it up after christmas we could be looking at 20 goals for the season which is a fantastic return.

LJF was ok first half but woefully bad second half. Good job Lucas was on his game. LJF lost Dickinson far too many times when he came on.

I said to Fred that O'Brien did more in today's game than MacNamee did in all games he'd played this season. Definitely not sorry to see MacNamee go now.

Forster was a cunt as always and should've been booked for his celebration.

Loan predictions:

Revel and Hutchinson not extended.

Sheehan permanent signing in January.

Ward, depends on if a striker is signed in January.

Not sure if we really deserved the win. Paynters penalty looked a bit soft, and it looked like they could have had one at the end. They also had a fair bit of the ball.

That said we created just as much as they did despite the midfield being a bit below par.

All in all who cares. 3 points are 3 points. Get in!

COME ON YOU REDS!!!

Bounced back from Rovers with a win.

Dont think we played well to be honest. Brighton probably had the better of the opening 15 minutes then we and Alan O'Brien came into it a bit more.

Our penalty looked very harsh from where I was sat and thought Brightons shout for Greers handball was more worthy of a penalty.

We went 1-0 and I was dreading Brez saving the penalty. Brighton hit back, surprise surprise it was Nicky Forster.

After that again, it seemed like Brighton had alot of the ball. They didnt play like id image a Gus Poyet team to play. Long balls, kicking, shirt pullling, climbing, pushing.

We went and got another goal, that man CHALRIE FUCKING AUSTIN then it was Brighton pressuring us.

Thought it would be 2-2 after Greers slip (well, when he got pushed over but the linesman left it) someone, cant remember who shot at the open goal but Lucas saved it. We have a clear penalty turned away clearest shout out the 3. The Brighton player stood behind Billy Paynter just pushed him over. If he hadnt given us the first one...

Liam Dickinson got through and missed a sitter I would have tucked away, he really was quite shite. How much did you pay for him?

Brighton pressed and looked dangerous, we looked nervous and shakey.

Did we deserve to the win? probably not but Brighton can fuck off because we are more than owed undeserved points against Brighton.

Good away following.

Dissapointed Adam Virgo didnt play a part in their defeat. Hope they get relegated and rot in the bottom tier and die a slow painful death with Falmer burning down, cunts, cunts, cunts, cunts, cunts

I thought a draw would have been a fair result. But to quote every football manager who has ever lived, the sign of a good team is those that can win playing poorly.

Both our fullbacks looked poor. I'll let sheehan off because he was on the wrong side of the pitch, but JFL is rubbish i'm afraid. Yes he can tackle and he's alright going forward, but he has no idea where he is half the time, let alone the bloke he's supposed to be marking. Caught out twice today by simple balls over the top that their bloke should really have scored from.

Greer didn't have the best of games, hopefully a blip.

Billy Paynter is built like a brick shithouse. He needs to start acting like one, instead of going down the minute someone breathes on him.

Good to see Brez get a decent reception, strange to see him catch so many today instead of punch/flap. Lucas had his best game that i've seen him play. Supoibe.

Austin, JPM, Cuthbert and Douglas were all very very good.

I think we've bought the wrong Alan o'brien.

I thought Paynter did really well today, he was getting battered by their centre backs every chance they got, his hold up play was good and thought he put himself about a bit actually.
