I love REM (Although I don't particularly like Michael Stipe). However this acoustic version of Losing My Religion is ace

I also love this guy, Newton Faulkner.

The Circle by OCS - inspired choice! I forgot just how brilliant that version is... Good work Samdy!

that version of big love is immense, and alone in Kyoto (Air) is one of my favouritest tracks ever.

I'll throw this into the ring:

Never been a fan of the tapping acoustic players, just leaves me cold personally.

I'm not the only one with amazingly brilliant taste then? Wink

I cant find a decent youtube of it but anything from Mark Eitzels Songs of Love Live album is fucking stunning.

In particular 'Last Harbour', 'Kathleen' and 'Western Sky'.  Heartbreakingly bleak but devastatingly beautiful.

You'll have to trust me on that I guess.

Arriba, good choices...not a massive queen fan but you cant deny freddie was awesome, sad loss. I have never heard anyone sing any queen song who vocal even comes close.

As for mac, well I play guitar myself, and its clips like that that make me feel like just giving up and packing up...

Good thread.

Not really my taste in music, but this guy can play a bit. I give you part of a Joe Bonamassa solo:
