Best Song: Eminem - Stan - has the edge over Johnny Cash because it isn't a cover, infact should a cover even be allowed? Nemo you did realise the Cash version was a cover didn't you?
Best Band: Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Best Solo Artist: Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) - if there was seperate male and female I'd have said Lily Allen for female
Worst Artist(s): Craig David - such an annoying singing style

Best Film: The Hole - possibly not the best film of the decade but it's my favourite so I'll say that. there have been LOADS of great ones
Best Actor/Tress: Joaquin Phoenix - I'm not that up with whos good at acting but he was outstanding in Gladiator. the bloke in Dead Mans Shoes was also great as was the gril in Fish Tank
Best of Comedic TV: Peep Show - the Office was cleverer and more influential but Peep Show is just so fucking funny
Best Character: David Brent - just narrowly beating Mark Corrigan

Sportsperson: Martin Johnson - captained The Lions, England and Leicester to victory. basically won everything going.
Sporting Moment: England winning the rugby world cup
STFC Best Player: Simon Cox
STFC Best Moment: beating Oxford 2-0 in their last season at the Manor Ground

Yes, I know Hurt is a Nine Inch Nails cover, lets not try and act superior, pretty much all of American IV is covers and it's still a phenomonal album. Some covers can be incredibly good, even if the majority are pants.

Yes it is one of the best covers I have ever heard. Being as the original came out in 1995 it might seem perhaps a bit weird to call it song of the decade.

But Cash did totally make it his own and I'll leave it there. I'm not going to go on about it. It is a great song and it's not wrong for a cover version to get some recognition.

Best Song:Mr Brightside- The Killers (Not my cup of cha normally but gets the vote as I was off my face dancing like a loon when I saw them live)

Best Band: Primal Scream

Best Solo Artist: Ray Davies of the Kinks (has to be seen live)

Worst Artist(s): Kings of Leon (bubble gum rock by numbers)

Best Film: Pan's Labyrinth

Best Actor/Tress: Benicio Del Toro

Best of Serious TV: Lost

Best of Comedic TV: Royal Family

Best Character: Jim Royal

Sportsperson: Mark Cavendish

Sporting Moment: Germany 1 - England 5

STFC Best Player: Super Sam Parkin

STFC Best Moment:  Playoffs

STFC Worst Player: Has to be Jamie Cureton, out of all them we've had in the past decade and there we’re some real no hopers fit for the glue factory.  The shite was largely out of their depth but Cureton and Thorpe should have set this league alight that season.  Thorpe gets off the hook as he was blatantly fucked from injury and slipped down the leagues afterwards but Cureton went onto have a stormer at Norwich.  His attitude was woeful at a time we needed him as an experienced pro to pull the rest of the donkeys through that dark patch..  If his head dropped any further he’d have been self felating.
