tonight i picked up a curry from stratton sinbads as i was in the area.now it was ok but my curry and the others for family were virtually the same.infact hardly any difference at all, even though they were meant to be different dishes.

i'll be sticking to curry cottage.

I assumed there was a more modern thread than this on takeaway curry, but this'll do.

Last night I went to order from my normal, fairly average, takeaway and they couldn't provide one of the dishes so was forced to use one I've not used before, Raka Poshi. Fuck me was it the best tkeaway curry I've ever had and by some distance. Everything tasted super fresh and the keema naan had lamb in it that wasn't red, and that tasted like lamb. It was gorgeous.

If anyone likes their curry and has not ordered from here, try this place. It's superb.

I'm still looking for a decent alternative to Curry Cottage, I've seen Raka Poshi on Just Eat before but not tried them so I'll give them a go next time.

Yep. Although some places will allow you too pay upon delivery too, if that's what you'd prefer.

Not exactly Egon Ronay style.

Let us know what you think. Quite like curry cottage but its good to try somewhere new if its good.
