anybody know any decent wedding bands? Not getting married til next August, but found a few bands we like on tinterweb. Does anybody have any firsthand experience of anyone good?

We're after a decent covers band that plays new stuff and old.

Ta much!

I remember years ago someone i know was after a band called Risky Business, which we saw at a Barn Dance and they were pretty good. Although it was over 10 years ago, so they could be long gone! Smiley

I do know a couple of good bands that do covers but arent particularly cheap.

Here is one I can vouch for that are excellent.

A band called Penfold played at my wedding a few years ago, my brother in law was the drummer so we got them very cheap Smiley.

They've changed a bit now though as they don't have a keyboard player so their stuff is a bit rockier. I haven't seen them for a couple of years so not sure what stuff they're playing nowadays.

Could still be worth a look though.

penfold played at our rugby club ball last summer, thought they were really good. Lots of get up and jump around sort of songs that even I had the occasional stagger to. That may have been the 6X though....
