I'm moving in  a few days, and i have a huge box of vhs tapes that i haven't watched in about 5 years, a playstation 2 with loads of games, a vhs player etc etc - part of me thinks bin it all, but i just can't seem to do it - is there any point in keeping this crap? does anyone else still hang on to stuff they never use just for the sake of it???

If you have stuff on VHS that you couldn't get on DVD - for example something not released on DVD or sport recorded off TV then it's worth keeping.

If you don't play the playstation 2 sell it. You can buy them really cheap anyway.

I thought charity shops didn't take electrical goods or computers?

Yeah some definitely do. They have to get them checked before they can sell them though I think, which might why some don't.

I was once faced with the same dilemma and eventually decided to bin the lot, although, when I parted with the ex-wife some of the vhs tapes did come in handy !
