Who can beat the Don?

CASTING an eye over Town’s attacking influences on the left of midfield, only a handful of names stick out with any great authority, writes SAM MORSHEAD.

David Duke must be on there as a bet surely? Not only was he shit, he played full back more often than not.

Come on Adver at least get your facts correct.Trevor Anderson was not a left winger,
Danny played him upfront on the right side with Peter Eastoe and then David Syrett.

Only one player comes remotely near the Don and that's David Moss.He played most of
his games on the left, but was equally happy on the right.Mossy scored and made goals
and regularly got into double figures on the seasons goal charts.3 goals at home to Oxford
Easter Monday 78 was sweet.Boxing Day 76 home to Oxford, The Don on one wing,Mossy
on the other and we won 1 - 0.

I could only find a couple of videos of Mossy, unfortunately in Luton colours, after he left the CG.

They show the quality of his shooting, movement and skill.

That was Don's last match for the Town....finished by injury at 31..... decent note to go out on.

I've always had a soft spot for George Ndah as well.
