Thought you would have known all about their money troubles though Gaz!! Kings Lynn from the same division were wound up in the High Court this week, they have seven days to appeal and pay off their debts, approaching £100,000. Seems small money considering the financial problems we went through under the leadership of Zorba the greek!

And haven't shown any signs of bothering to appeal it either apparently. Sounds like they have one of the laziest boards going: http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=2907

I still haven't made it to a Durham City game to my shame. DC lost their sponsorship due to them playing on an artificial surface and the FA saying they cannot progress any further with that pitch.
It's a shame as their facilities are said to be really good.
Duke plays for Consett nowadays.

Talking of crap football teams, I see that Fort William reclaimed their customary position of holding up the Highland League on Saturday, crashing 4-1 to Strathspey Thistle.
Thistle were winless so far this campaign, whereas the Fort notched a first win in 2 years back in September, winning 2-1 at Turriff United.
Apparently the state of the pitch at Claggan Park is of some concern this season.

At least it was a shot on target, and with only 6 goals scored so far this season, they're rare enough.
