I think I don't understand how money gets divided up between clubs. I thought the home club got the money for all tickets sold.
How does it work?

No, that's the League. In the Cup it's divided equally between the two clubs, after the FA have had a slice (I think it's 40-40-20)

I think that the money is shared in the cup. Hence why smaller teams are (or used to be?) given the option to play away despite being drawn at home.

Oh OK, I didn't know that!! Is is just the FA cup that works like that or do the league/JPT cups work the same way? What about european cups?

And Carlisle score with the first attack of the 2nd half. Good goal.

How fucking defeatist can people get ? Why the clamour to play a top 4 Prem club in the 3rd round ? Yes, I know a top club would boost our coffers (if played away) but not to any great extent at this relatively early stage. I want to see us progress to at least the 4th round so let's hope tomorrow gives us a winnable home tie against a crap club. The 3rd round is on Jan 2nd so we will know how good Danny Ward is assuming he's bedded in. Round 4 is on Jan 23rd, so by that time we should have ejected Hutch & Revell and found ourselves a decent striker. Then I would welcome being drawn against a top club.

I hope he's cup tied and not even playing but I blame the defeat purely on McNamee

Yep and still very foggy. Anyone remember a game at the CC against Blackburn probably during 90's when an almighty fog descended and you couldn't see from one end to the other?

That was the game where we came back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 at half time, whilst the fog rolled in. By the time the second half started, you couldn't see a thing and somehow the game continued and we won 4-3.
