Shirtliff says on the OS that Ward's only coming in on Sunday - does that mean he won't be in the squad on Sat? I thought I'd read that he was available to play in the FA Cup. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to give him a start. If not him, then who to start with Billy? Revell or Peacock?

If he's coming in on Sunday I think it's a safe bet that he won't be in the squad tomorrow. We'll probably revert to 4-5-1 at the taffs.

No shit! Not sure we can afford the luxury of only one front man with a less than prolific midfield. Goals will have to come from somewhere. I suspect Revell will start. (I know...)

I pretty sure Revell can't play either (Southend don't want him cuptied), thought i'd heard somewhere Ward is just getting over a slight injury so although he's allowed to play, can't or won't be risked (not sure where i got this from now though)

Why would Southend not want him cup tied? They've basically shown him the door and done all but tell him to never come back.

It will more than likely be Hutchinson as Celtic do not participate in the FA Cup - although I'd like to see Peacock given a game

You know the rules. Get that knee jerking and decide his fate before even seeing his face.

Who's slagged him off? I haven't seen anyone except the notoriously catty JFW accusing him of being fat!

It said on the radio, he can't play. But Southend are out of the FA Cup.

But if they're looking to sell him on in Jan and we've said we're not interested they'll not want whoever they're trying to flog him to to drive the price down because he's cup-tied. (Although he'll most likely go on a free to a side that isn't in the 3rd round)
