I believe hes been out injured following a knee operation?

Perhaps Wilson is planning on just letting him get back to fitness at Dagenham.

My views are still 50/50 when it comes to Casal, don't think hes had a fair chance. Wilson brought the best out of Amankwaah, possibility he can do the same with Casal

Yinka update.

A. Trialist also starts.

Pompey too strong for Town reserves
Posted on: Tue 08 Dec 2009

Town's reserves went down to a heavy defeat away at Portsmouth earlier this afternoon.

Pompey fielded a strong looking side for the match which kicked off at 12pm, and they proved too much for the visitors.

Long term injury absentees Hasney Aljofree, Lloyd Macklin and Yinka Casal continued their rehabilitation, while Bolton loanee Danny Ward made his first start in Town colours up front alongside Lee Peacock.

Craig Easton was partenered in midfield by and un-named trialist, while Alan O'Brien got more valuable game minutes under his belt in his pursuit of match fitness.

Swindon Town: Jakub Jesionkowski; Nathan Thompson, Hasney Aljofree, Will Evans, Kasali Yinka Casal; Lloyd Macklin, Craig Easton (Capt.), A. Trialist, Alan O'Brien; Danny Ward, Lee Peacock

Substitutes: Alex Revell, Mark Marshall, Billy Bodin

Hmmm, Revell not even making it into the reserves. Sent back at the end of the month then?

I think that Casal could single handedly turn our season around.

And I wouldn't call a 3-0 defeat particularly heavy either, terrible reporting.
