Nearly happened to me a few years ago. Parked outside Heathrow while my Dad dropped me off (yeah i know, seriously i'm practically brainless at times), when he went back out to drive home my car was gone. When he phoned they said that he was lucky because they were about to blow it up.

Parked on double yellow lines in a sensitive area and now expects the police to pay compensation?? Doubt the insurance company will pay up either!

Such intelligent people shouldn't be allowed to own cars.

I was once going on cycle ride round Ireland, and taking the bike on the train down to Fishguard...had to wait a bit to get a non 125....crap guards van. So left the bike and wandered back into town, to pick up a couple of things...when I got back, a suspect package type scenario had been kicked off....

Oh dear.
In similar news, some pillock parked his car in the entrance to the builders centre in Wootton Bassett at one of the re-pats a few weeks ago. They got the forklift out and lifted him out of the way. Amazes me how people decide to leave their cars in such obscure places.

Leaving your car on double yellows in London is just stupid.
