What would be really funny if he lied and got everyone checking by saying Girls aloud, or some other crap at number one.

It would have worked better if I'd recieved more PM votes, as it is 90% are in this thread.

I don't get why people would vote by PM. Are they ashamed of what music they like?

So far the common theme is that they've all been called Dave. Doubt that has much to do with it.

Currently, we have a TEF Top 44 as I've filtered the results to be sorted by the total amount of points recieved as long as at least two people have voted for that album?

Any cunning plans for how to engineer that final 6? Or failing that, a few more votes

Having the Arctic Monkeys top invalidates all your choices Mex, sorry about that.

One of only two of your choices which got another vote.

Give us a list of all the ones voted for once and we can rank a top 3 of those?

Although it wouldn't work if it was all Blink 182.

Where albums are equal on points will you just list them in alphabetical order?

Did you discount albums with ten points cos only one person chose them? If so I don't think that's the way it should work.

They're albums with only one vote- 17 of them have 10pts though, so that doesn't work terribly well. And indeed I have discounted them, I'd say two people placing an album 6th is better than one placing 10th, otherwise numbers 50-35 are all going to be stuff that nobody apart from one person has ever heard of.

As for ties, I haven't decided yet, probably based on sales or something.

1. Daft Punk - Discovery
2. William Shatner - Has Been
3. The Go! Team - Thunder Lightening Strike
4. Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
5. Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse Present: Dark Night of the Soul
6. Polyphonic Spree - Together We're Heavy
7. Gorillaz - Demon Days
8. Hot Chip - The Warning
9. Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
10. MGMT - Oracular Spectacular

Order is a bit ropey, and mostly off the top of my head.
