Slightly smaller operatoing loss (better management of costs)

Slight increase in overall loss as we seemed to spend more on, than we got for, our players.

Malpas pay off equated to £45k

Commercial Corporate and advertising income all down on previous year which is a little worrying although there seems to be a shift this year with more people in corporate (my view, not in the accounts)

2009-2008 lost a tad over £3million

ongoing losses now around £12m

St Modiwn Dispute...

Included within Creditors: amounts due within one year, there is an amount of £1,475,000 (2008:
£1,475,000) owed to Shaw Park Developments Limited, a company that at the time the advance is
said to have been made was 50% owned by the former parent company, Swindon Town FC Limited.
Under the terms of the loan agreement, this liability was originally due to be repaid on 30th August
2008 however, by mutual agreement this repayment date was deferred until 30th August 2009. At
the date of this report, and following a review of all documentation relating to the loan, the Company
is in dispute with Shaw Park Developments Limited and has taken advice from its legal advisors in
respect of this matter.

Have the 07-08 accounts been published yet? We seem to be missing them (or maybe I just missed them)

Yes, they were the ones voted on at the AGM last month.

I'm sure they were on the OS but I cannot find them yet...

They were published as I have a pdf copy of them, I uploaded them a few weeks back for someone on another thread. If anyone else wants a copy and can't find the original thread, let me know and I'll post them again.

So lets get this right. The money was advanced to the club by another subsidiary (50%) owned by
the holding company (which is now defunct). preseumably St Modwen owns the other 50% & they
put the money into Shaw park developements.

So who now owns the other jalf of shaw park developments ?

It's Swindon Town FC Limited, currently in Administration. I believe the administrator is a certain Mr A Andronikou.

Me please jonny. Were they published on the OS? (That's what I meant, should have been clearer) Or did you get yours from CH?

No, it's Swindon Football Holdings Ltd - the 50% stake was transferred over when Fitton took over. And the old Holding Co isn't in Admin any more, it's been liquidated:

Hmmm, that note in the accounts seems to suggest a question mark exists around whether anything found it's way to the football club....or am I reading it wrong?

Well if you are, I am as well. Wouldn't be a massive shock would it? If a huge chunk of Bill P's money went walkies (albeit no doubt to meet wholly legitimate business expenses), why shouldn't the same have happened to St Modwens? In a wholly legitimate and legal context of course

Has anyone got electronic copies of previous years? I'd appreciate copies if you do.

Cheers jonny. PM me an email address and I'll send you previous years - not sure on the copyright around posting them up on the web as I got them off CH and I'm pretty sure if I just post them that would breach copyright.
