Shocking news, only 44 as well.

One of, if not the, biggest rap artist in the UK back in the late 80's but never really got the recognition he deserved over here due to his music being a bit too commercial for some people.

Not easy getting hold of his music either. I had to pay over £20 not so long ago for a copy of Bullet From A Gun on CD.

Dont be a dickhead....no one is a nonentity and to say someone is on the day theyve died isnt nice....if you dont like his music fair enough just say that.....RIP...44 is a shockingly young age to die.

For those who haven't heard of him, which I'm assuming is the majority, he was the first UK rap artist to break through to the pop charts and the third rap artist to appear on TOTP. So whilst rap music often dominates the pop charts nowadays he really was there at the beginning when it all started.

To add a football context, he also co-wrote the Anfield Rap.
