I'm undecided. Hot sausages, or cold sausages. I had one last night while they were still warm, but finishing them off today. Think they are better cold.

Oh yeah can't be cheap nasty ones. Black farmer ones are the bees knees. Especially the apple ones.

Hot, fried onions - if in a bagette then with mustard, if in between two slices of bread then with brown.
Cup of tea on the side. Perfect.

Hot - with mash & onion gravy.
Cold - in a sandwich with caramelised onion chutney.

Can't beat the taste of a sausage sandwich when camping...as Bazza says any old sausage will do...fry in billy can lid preferably over a camp fire, and whack into one slice of white bread, and wrap bread around sausage, butter if you've got it, but marge will do.
