It's for a stairway and landing.

Just been to Carpet Right and the robbing cunts quoted me as so:

15m2 carpet = £83.86
15m2 underlay = £97.86
Grippers = £70.08
"Stair charge" = £35
Fitting & delivery = £76
On the day charge = £45
Total = £407.80

So they can get fucked. I just bought the exact same underlay and grippers online for £75 delivered.

Any recommendations for a carpet fitter will be gratefully received.

Try Alan Alexander. Need to check him out in yellow pages for his number, he did a great job for us last time we had him. Reasonable too !

Cheers guys. Went with Carpets4Less in the end. Really nice people and a steal at £169 fitted.

Managed to save myself £163.80 off what Carpet Right wanted and got better quality stuff as well. Result.

How long have you been waiting for an opportunity to use that one?
