Still up as I'm waiting for our goals on the football league show. Watched Match of the Day - it was quite dull. The football league is definitely more entertaining.
Question from Viewer on FL Show: Should we bring back terracing? Answer from Steve Claridge: No. I think we've all got used to the comfort of all seater stadia recently. Claridge is a fucking idiot. Anyone who was at Brentford will vouch for this. |

Followed by the "everyone's been taken by surprise by Southend going into administration, no-one knew they had financial problems". Apart from their fans, and most people on here. And probably anyone else who was paying half a whit of attention. That's not just Claridge though - very few pundits, even the "Football League experts" seem to have a damn clue what goes on below the Championship. |

As much as I love Match of the Day, the BBC paying £170m over 3 years for the rights is a shocking use of the license fee. Especially when for £260m over 3 years they could have got exclusive rights to the Football League and League Cup giving them over 100 live matches a season - bearing in mind a lot more people support teams and go to matches in the Football League. I doubt any of the other free to air channels would have paid anything like that sum of money for Premier League highlights and they'd probably have got a better deal from the Football League for the increased coverage. |

Straight red for me. He might have won the ball in the end but he'd already committed the foul by climbing all over Zamora and holding him back. Strong argument that he should have gone for the earlier challenge as well. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool challenge it. If they do and the result in anything other than an increased ban it will just reinforce the view that we got shafted over Douglas. |

Great programme last night, I would love to have Hanson/Shearers job, a maximum of 2 minutes work between them and they get to see a game free every week and paid a fortune.
