I think its fair to say that its been a hit and miss season so far with alot of positives being mixed with negatives...just so annoying that the team takes a step forward with a good display then backwards again with a bad one.....this time last season i remember Leicester fans wanting rid of manager Pearson...the forums and press were lambasting his every decision,he looked on borrowed time...the board were patient and the fans were won round.....and after last nights win at QPR they look a good outside bet for Prem football....they havnt spent big, didnt take the chance with Cox....things are looking rosy for Leicester much to my annoyance.
Dont pretend to know the mood of all Town fans but support for Wilson dosnt strike me as being that great....some of his decisions have been baffling to me,but then so was Pearsons in the Leicester fans eyes last year.....i will wait to the seasons end before making rash judgements on our manager.

i dont think wilson is going to be good enough for us.
steady, but not going to get us promoted without major funds.we wasted time with malpas, and i've seen little to say we've pushed on from his reign.

Leicester fans probably had a greater expectation at the beginning of last season than us at the beginning of this seson.
Wilson's first step was to strengthen the back and midfield this he has done (not counting the Gillingham game).
We are playing good stuff at times, but we all know the problem, the strike force.
Austin is a hope, but more of a hopeful prayer than a definite 'we have the man'.

I'm quite happy with the set-up of the club, from what I've seen of other sides in the division so far nothing I've seen really worries me, with what we've got at the moment we could be just behind the play-offs and with a striker I think we will make it.

Major progress since Malpas, we are two or three players short of a good side, keep the faith.

I agree with dell. In my eyes we have progressed a lot. We have Greer and Cuthbert at the back. We have Douglas in midfield. JPM has begun to earn his wages. The only real problem is the final third of the pitch, and as much as we can (rightly) blame Wilson for not sorting this out sooner, he's still brought us a long way, and still has a lot of time to rectify that situation before we can even think about writing this season off. Maybe Revell will come good after a slow but far from dreadful start? Or perhaps Paynter will get his place back and grab a few? Austin could even come into the side and be a great asset for all we know.

We were a total shambles under Malpas. Lower League 2 standard. Under Wilson we are mid table league 1 standard.

3 points better off. Won the same amount.

15th game last season we drew 2-2 with table topping Leicester.

We are a tidy, organised side this season that is 2 decent players away from being a fucking good team in this division. If we'd kept hold of Cox we'd be in the top 4 I have absolutely no doubt of that. The football is a hell of a lot better than it was under Malpas and I think with a bit of patience Wilson will do good for us. Unfortunately, the impatience of our support will see we get what we deserve which is absolutely nothing.

we deserved an able replacement for cox.
we're still waiting.
we are a better unit than last season, but there are still much things wrong with the team and structure of the side.

I'm not sure it's easy finding someone to replace a 32 goal a season striker, and it's not as if they haven't tried. But still, abusing the players that are out there working their bollocks off isn't really helping is it? The verbal abuse Revell and Paynter have received by some of our fans is fucking shocking, and is part of the reason why I think as a set of supporters we don't deserve any success.

What things would you change in the side at the moment?

And also no coincidence that Macklin plays better away from home.

agree about the abuse.i am with you 100% that we have some morons as fans.

i'd play players where they are at their best and for the benefit of the team.we'd have to watch training and know the players inside out to reach those decisions.
the non playing of paynter and easton in particular rings alarm bells.
