A defensive midfielder generally doesn't score that many, so i think you're probably wrong there Dave.

Indirectly, yes.  Gaining more possession in midfield should mean setting up more attacks if somebody can be arsed to run after the ball.

I dont think possesion has been our problem this season at all.

Its the finishing followed by the supply line. Personally I'd say we need a striker, creavtive midfield, left winger, right winger and maybe even a left back before we need a denfensive midfielder.

Its a pity there isn't a returns system for footballers like there is with shops. Then Wilson could simply return all the shit he has signed and get a refund, which he could then spend on some more shit players. Repeat in summer.

Who do you think he's signed (that we've paid for) that's shit then? Douglas? Cuthbert? Greer?

Possession in the middle not at the back.  We do have a lot of possession, but I would rather Douglas wins the ball and sets up an attack rather than Cuthbert passing it to Greer who then tries to welly it in front of the wide midfielder.  Passing it around the back is done with confidence, but let's be stronger in the middle.

Are you seriously suggesting that all of DW's Permanent signings in the summer have been shit? If so, you are clearly deluded. Lucas, Greer, Cuthbert and Douglas have been a very strong core, particularly if you compare with last season's core of Brezovan, Aljofree, Ifil and <Inset Central Midfielder of any note here>. O'Brien being injured hasn't helped his cause so judgment needs to be reserved.

You have more of an argument with some of the loan players, but is that a case of attitude/application vs ability (i.e Hutchison)
