Has just been jailed for 18 months for actual bodily harm and sexually assaulting a girl. Wigan have sacked him.
I'm all for giving people second chances, but shouldn't scum like this be kicked out of the game for good?
Scum...i hope they bum rape him.
He got 5 months in 2002 for handling stolen goods and an 8 week driving ban in 2008 for doing 106 in a 60 limit.
*Edit* He's also got to sign the sex offenders register.

Fucking unbelievable....Premier League rules say that Wigan have to pay him two weeks salary before they can terminate his contract. Why the fuck can't they just terminate on the spot without further payment? And why the fuck are they having to pay him anything whilst he is locked up in prison.
I don't think they can sue him for breach of contract either, again something in the Premier League rules. The Chelsea / Mutu case was apparently different as Mutu isn't British.

I noticed that his agent is Tony Finnigan. I wonder if it's the Tony Finnigan who played a few games for us in '91, because he's apparently has become an agent. |

Was an interesting interview. Thought all the 5 live panelists paid far too much attention to his possible appeal, saying he might not be guilty. 13 people identified him, convicted in a court. Hopefully he will appeal and his sentance will be increased further. |
