I saw that ealier youth. Looks like they used too much starch on the shirt though! What a gimp, he's nothing special. Decent enough for league 1 but not really what you would call a top player. Otherwise he would have been knocking on the Championship's door by now, or at least one of the 'Hull - type' teams in league 1. I really think City have been too hasty to sign players, I'm not sure their signings are an improvement tbh.

Either that or it was the shirt Smithy was wearing when Tinman did a Piemonte on his ass. :?

Danny Coles is better, but since he fell out with Tinnion, he never got a look in

Tinnion thinks that Heywood will solve thier defensive problems in the air. What he has failed to notice is that whilst Heywood may win the ball it will go straight out or to a player on the opposing team. If he does manage to get it down to his feet....HOOF!

He's nearer to his summer job on Weston-Super-Mare beach.

I think this whole "and because the only offers for parkin to have come in as yet are unnacceptable, he must be staying" business is complete and utter bollocks. There are still 2months for clubs to bid for parkin and basically, now is not the time when players are bidded for - by mid July, the club will be filled with offers for Parkin, all of which are over the trigger clause and therefore it will be down to parkin to take his pick...

yeh i know Soapy Tit Wank i just wanted to make the point that people thinking we are going to hold on to parkin are not being realistic as he too will be joining this list of departed players.

Does this trigger clause actually exist? Or is it a bit of a ploy by the club to get some higher bids in?

I think it does exist but not how most of us thought it did. We've all played too much Champ Man. I believe the deal is that he's allowed to speak to clubs who make a bid equalling a clause in his contract, but the club are not obliged to accept the bid and sell him.

So in other words it just prevents clubs from tapping him up, provided they have offered this fee. Seems a bit bollocks really, just allows Parkin to find out what he could get potentially if he were to leave at the end of his contract.
