Well the i have now received my 'new to me' Passat from work.
It means the Saab 93 Sport 'Flashmobile' will now be sold and it is in for a service this week.
I need to get the thing fully cleaned - inside and out.
Where is the cheapest place in Town.
A place in Calne does it for £60 i think.
Anywhere better??

You could try the Arc place at the Asda Petrol Station on the Orbital Centre - they do a range of different valets ranging from the basic one at £10 up to the top one at £70 (I think?).
Put my car in there recently and was pleased with the result.

If you call it "detailing" and can use a buffer you can charge even more!

Well you pays your money and makes your choice. All I will say is that these car washes will use the same bucket of water to clean two/three cars, with any grit from the previous car potentially scratching yours, as I've found to my cost.
Plus they use some pretty serious cleaning agents which are great for cleaning the car but also strip off any wax/polish you may already have on the car, which is fine as long as you wax the car again afterwards but who wants to do that??
I'd rather pay someone who knows what they are doing to look after my car and to be honest I'd rather have it done properly once a month than badly once a week.
