There's a chap called Gary from Belfast who I end up meeting about once every couple of seasons in the Glue Pot.  A couple of times a year he flies in to Bristol for the day, train to Swindon, beers, game, train, plane and home by midnight.  That's a cracking day out.  He did tell me how it was he ended up supporting the Town, but I've forgotten.

So you're not alone.

Thaught that was JPM.

Was introduced to him today Ironically enough, does the same course as me and I'm repeating 2nd year! Someone to go to matches with at last. Though my away record is such that I should certainly stay away from all future games coming up my way!

I'm in Lancaster, didn't realise there was some form of TEF ghetto up in the north west!

I hate peoples blogs/reports on Swindon, who don't even go to the game.

I've always fancied the idea of the sedan chair....be cool to be carried home from the pub.

This is, of course, the origin of the word 'cheerio'  (as in 'chair ho !)
