It's my birthday and I can't be bothered to go out. That's gotta be a tell telling sign.

Lidl is seriously brilliant.  I once bought a pair of sandals for a fiver.  The lager also tastes the same as that brand stuff but is a lot cheaper.

I like Aldi & Lidl, both ace, especially for fruit and veg.
I'm proper pikey, me.

Who or what is Lidl? It sounds like a shop for small people.

They are cheap supermarkets full of (mostly German & Polish) foreign produce.
Nobody seems to know exactly where the food comes from, but it's that cheap, nobody cares.

They are great for cheap fruit & veg, beers & chocolate. I don't touch the fresh meat or toiletries though.

I bought the 15p shower gel once, it smelled quite like petrol.

When Sussex makes you use Gravy Browning instead of tights like in the olden days then you might have to start worrying! Wink
