Only created for the following
Japan 2 - Scotland 0
And the fact the Portuguese, Argies and Germans could all fail to qualify for the WC.
Oh, and En-ger-land are apparently playing a friendly later.

How could Scotland lose to Japan? England keeper sent off, professional foul, Ukraine missed the penalty, still 0:0.

I've been slated on here in the past for criticising Ferdinand but people surely realise now that he is a liability and,if selected,a real hindrance to our hopes in SA,yes?

Ferdinand makes too many big mistakes for my liking. He made mistakes in the Holland friendly which cost a goal, and again today. Hr just loses concentration too often.

Longs bar had the England game on so I managed to catch that.
Rio Ferdinand was, to be fair, still pulling his pants up from the the Craig Bellany incident and so can't be blamed for allowing Ukraine in for the red card incident. After that it was always going to be hard to get a result.
Good to see the sweaties continue doing what they do though.
